TZD > Assessment Tools
The Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) Assessment Tools will help you gauge the current level of your organization’s practices that support TZD efforts. The information generated will show where you are on a continuum so you can identify where to best focus efforts. The tools will also suggest potential tactics for advancing your program. Please consult the Guidance Document to learn more about understanding and applying your results.
How Each Tool Works
Questions are arranged on a continuum of increasing levels of development or engagement. As you answer each question, you will be given the option to immediately learn why this measure is important and how you can strengthen this area by clicking “More Info.”
You will need to answer every question in each section to get a complete picture of your program’s status. Please allow approximately 20–30 minutes to complete each assessment.
At the end of each assessment, you’ll see a printable report of your responses. You will need to print or save the report when you are finished if you want to have a record of the results. The data from these assessments will not be stored upon completion or if you exit out before completion.
